Growing in Africa: A Success Story and a View from the Ground

The Eurozone crisis may be casting a shadow over Europe but there is still much to be positive about in Africa with the IMF forecasting an average growth of 6.2% over 2011-12. There are a number of success stories emerging, not least that of Ecobank, the leading pan-African banking group, with operations in more African countries than any other bank in the world. It is the leading independent banking group in sub-Saharan Africa, serving wholesale and retail customers across the Continent.

The Business Council for Africa West and Southern is very pleased to announce that it has secured Mr. Arnold Ekpe, Ecobank’s Group CEO, as a speaker on 28th February 2012, who will share with members his experiences of successfully growing a business in Africa.
